Surface
Unauthenticated marketing homepage at anything.com. A user can start typing a prompt before creating an account.
Step 1 — First impression
- Background: full-bleed photograph — flower meadow + sky, with a vintage CRT TV as hero object (distinctive brand aesthetic, not stock).
- Top nav: floating pill-shaped transparent bar, horizontally centered near the top. Glass/blurred background.
- Items (left → right):
Anything(logotype, mixed serif italic + sans),Pricing,Docs,Careers,Community,Login— text links. - Right end:
Get started— solid black pill button (primary CTA). - Hero title: "Anything" in large mixed-weight serif (italic "Anything" treatment).
- Sub-hero: "Turn your words into mobile apps, sites, tools, and products — built with code. Add GPT-5 and 40+ integrations in an instant."
- Notable copy details: explicit "GPT-5" mention (model name-drop) + "40+ integrations" (specific number, not vague).
Step 2 — Prompt entry (pre-signup)
- Component: large rounded rectangle text input (white, ~50% viewport width) placed over the hero image.
- Placeholder:
Share your vision with us…(inviting, brand-voiced — not the bland "Ask anything"). - Submit: circular outlined button with arrow at right edge.
- No other actions on this input. No attach, no mode selector — simplified pre-signup entry.
💭
The pre-signup prompt is a classic "try it before you buy it" wedge — you can type a full idea, and when you submit, the flow gates to signup (see Anything.com - Signup). The simplified input (no attachments, no mode) is deliberate — they strip choices to lower activation friction.
Step 3 — Brand tone
- No customer logos, no trust badges, no enterprise language. Deliberately atmospheric.
- Visual language (floating CRT, flowers, pastel sky) is consumer / indie-maker coded, reinforcing the Indie Makers and Solopreneurs ICP target.

Differentiators vs Replit
- Replit's homepage (Replit - Homepage and Prompt Entry) shows customer logos (Google, Stripe, etc.), template carousel with 5 types, and example prompt chips. Anything.com's landing is quieter — just the prompt input and mood.
- Anything.com names a specific model (GPT-5) in the hero. Replit doesn't.
