What it does
A cost/quality mode selector on the agent chat bar. Current value shown: Economy > (implying dropdown with higher-quality options like Standard, Performance, or similar).

What the dial likely controls
Rough inference (from industry convention): - Economy — cheaper model, fewer tokens, fewer tool calls per step. Best for trivial changes. - Standard — default balance. - Performance / Max — strongest model, more planning, more tool calls.
Why it exists
Users trade cost for quality. For small edits ("change this button color"), Economy is fine. For complex architectural work, Performance is worth the credit burn.
Differentiators vs Anything.com
- Anything.com's equivalent is the
Auto >pill on the prompt (see Anything.com - Workspace and New Project). Similar function, different naming. "Auto" suggests the system picks for you; "Economy" suggests the user picks explicitly. - Pattern captured canonically at Cost-Quality Mode Dial.
